3D Printing Gases Market Production, Manufacturing, Revenue and Forecast Until 2021
Global
3D Printing
Gases Market is expected to rise
at a higher CAGR in future. 3D printing gases refers to the use of various
gases such as argon, nitrogen and other gases for 3D printing. These include
reduction in oxidation of counterfeit parts by reducing the oxidation content
in print chamber and maintain constant pressure to enable constant environment
for printing to prevent combustible dust. Powder handling and sieving process
may incur some hazards and may cause disruption in the process. Commercially,
3D printing has increasingly become popular in recent years. Designing,
prototyping and manufacture of new components and devices are now much
simplified with the use of 3D printing technology and areas of application due
to its expansion. For instance, weapons, clothing, implants and food are some
areas of 3D printing.
Further,
depending on the material, 3D Printing can vary. In case of plastics, additive process is
conducted whereas in metals, a technique called direct metal laser sintering
(DMLS) is put to use. This process follows a computer-aided design to liquefy
titanium powder and build a solid structure. Argon is mainly used for 3D
printing since it offers several benefits that include reduction of oxidation
of sintered parts, preventing corrosion and extracting the impurities. Risks
associated with the use of argon include faulty co-ordination, poor judgment
and emotional upset. To lessen the intensity of risks, oxygen depletion detectors
can be put to use which can be adjusted to different level of oxygen
concentration to suit the requirements.
